nice, very nice

64vwmark - January 11th, 2005 at 02:21 PM

That looks shit hot! I've seen the same wheels on a Type 3 wagon in a magazine which looks good also.

ColumBUS - January 11th, 2005 at 02:31 PM

anyone know how much a set of those wheels would set me back?

Resto64 - January 12th, 2005 at 05:20 AM

talk to Roy at Classic vw(pacific)

Resto64 - January 12th, 2005 at 05:22 AM

yer they look great on the t3 as well

BLUE_62 - January 14th, 2005 at 01:30 AM

Always an idea for Rhett (PHAT BUG) and his type3. Not a bad lookin set of rims. I certainly wouldn't say NO. I am having enough trouble with 15" rims destroying my guards. How much worse could 17s make it. :duh

Fossil - January 14th, 2005 at 04:45 PM

Type 3 schweet as :kiss

pavelmac - January 14th, 2005 at 05:05 PM

I believe Richard at Vforce/ Beetle Racing is taking delivey of a number of sets some hot 17" wheels in the very near future.

BenettonVW - January 23rd, 2005 at 04:22 PM

I can beat that.. or can I?

I am after the link to this project,(not trying to hijack) but it was a 59 Beetle on bags, and 17's.

If anyone can help me, please U2U me the link. Thanks..

11CAB - January 23rd, 2005 at 05:04 PM

How much does that look like Dasdubbers..........:duh

Resto64 - January 23rd, 2005 at 05:46 PM

yer farkin heaps close
Jim where did you get that pic from , might help us to find some more out about it?????

bugboymatt - January 23rd, 2005 at 06:10 PM

Thats nice

BiX - January 24th, 2005 at 01:12 PM

are they still 5stud beetle? of gone to a nb stud pattern or something like that?

BenettonVW - January 24th, 2005 at 06:54 PM

New Beetle 5 stud, originally made obviously for the NB, but it is fast becoming the trend, as they are bigger rims, 17", and the olde skool stylings of the BRM. Problem is, the numbers of wheels available seems to have dried up some what....

Another one of the 59 I am looking for..

Few pics on the samba

robnjo - January 24th, 2005 at 07:20 PM

Awesome, just awesome.
how much work for this to happen on a splitty?

twoguns - January 24th, 2005 at 07:25 PM

17 inch rims can fit on a splitty , no worries. i have 17s on mine. but if youre refering to inside leg lifts... thats a whole other thing.

BenettonVW - January 24th, 2005 at 07:25 PM

A little.. ;)
