just been looking through a split book i have n thought other split fans would like to see what those mad euros did several decades ago..

I'm new to this split concept, but from what im getting in these images, the split, being obviously a Kombi, can be split into pieces to add and take length. Am i correct?

Split refers to the windscreen being in two peices.
