hey i bought the blue baja on the trailer at club fest, the guy wanted $900 for it gave it to me for $700 and $25 delivery to loganholme,, has motor and everything plus spares of things...the only thing it has bad is the brakes not working..i think he said it was a 63 baja,,got it home yesterday and just had to try it.. so put the plates off my vw super and went for a spin,had to use the hand brake to stop,,i could be like BIG KEV and say im so excited,,,,was great to meet a few people at the fest..i just hope i didnt block anyone in ,in the beetle parking,we got a lot and had to make more parks for them,,,,,,,,,WHAT A GREAT DAY.......COLLEEN

if i cant sell my 71 super im going to put the motor from it in my new baja,and not sure what other parts will fit ,,,,if not sold in 2 weeks will be wrecking the super,,can do little bits of work on it myself but the,,,,well most of it will have to get someone to do,,then when has rego im off to play

well,, had my car played with by mr m and midlife crisis and found it to be not much wrong with it .and im calling him <car>,,,,,HONKY,,,,going to put my motor out of my 71 super in it,and keep a few parts then sell the rest...no rust in HONKY has been done up pretty good by old owner,,and he has reclining seats for the movies,,

A whole baja for less than the cost of a kit and barwork.....bargain!!

This had better not mean the end of the type threes though!!!!!

my baja is nearly finished ,had to get new master cylinder and a boot for some axel and indicator flasher and swap motors from my super and tint the windows and off i go,, will look a bit funny with my personalized plates from my super on it tho.need to get 2 big front tyres and a boggy paint job on the guards to rough him up a bit,A big ,thanks to MR M and MRS M AND MIDLIFE CRISIS <mr #mrs> that have done all the work on HONKY,,,,

need any bits? I might have something growing in the backyard.:duh

hey my baja is GOING,,,took it for a spin yesterday,, it wouldnt hold its charge so was going to use the motor out of my super but midlife crisis found that the brushes in the generator were worn and took them out of my super motor and off it went,,was a bit choked up to start but the more i drove it wowowo its is perfect, and all i spent on it was $100 for parts and $700 for the car, so what a bargin,need music in it real quick tho,,and have to find someone to wire up the wiper motor,,, and i do need a drivers door handle i bought one suppose to be for a 62 baja but it didnt fit,, so anyone out there got one i can buy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,colleen
