Since when did Lamborghini go into offroad buggies?

Crazy, I wonder what the price tag is on that!!!

I don't think i would want to take an expensive lamborghini offroad, but the V12 would certainly give it some WiLd Gutts and "Big" balls.

I can remember about 20 years ago they made some for the police that patrol the deserts in the middle east and I think the sahara area's. Something to do with drug and gun running I think

Yeah I think they built them for the Israeli Army but had problems with them using too much fuel and getting hot.....funny that......

That 'ol lunger goes way back before VW took over. I think Hummer took over from those things, and they go back about 15 years?

that was the answer to the hummer, and was designed for general use for the us army. hummer got the job.

also in the running was the toyota mega cruiser, but i don't have any pctures

That's based on the LM002 which had a revised Countach V12 in it. The original excessive 4x4.

Yea a black one drove past me when i was living in london....
I heard the motor first then it went past proudly showing off it's lambo badging on it's rear end..
I was like what the f__k, a 4wd lambo

It was built in 1977 for the US Army to replace the Jeep, but they never bought it. It was powered by a Chrysler engine (not Lambo).
