People, this is the real deal, no photoshop here. I use photoshop everyday and yes could proberly do this but do you think I would post it if it was? No. Here is the link to the car. Dont be so negative just because you could do it on your laptop.

Quote from owner of car" just build the motor to run on pumpgas and 25psi of boost!!! then you can have fun on the street like me!!! i run 32psi on english pumpgas 98ron(same as your 93), the only problem i have is the cops thay always find me by following the thick black lines on the floor"

ruckus - October 7th, 2005 at 10:09 AM

Damn that thing is tight!

Well it makes you appreciate just how much oomph you would need, regardless of if you can simulate it artificially. So that's a turboed wasserboxer then?

mrchristopher - October 10th, 2005 at 04:26 PM

turbo54-who quotes oysterhead at the end of every reply?
a champion, thats who!
hes an inspiration to us all,
when all else has been done and said...

hahaha dats wew wiked innit

Doug Sweetman - October 11th, 2005 at 05:58 PM

yeah, the fact that there is no driver in the car kinda gives that last one away tho.......

kudos to a car that can do a 70mph burnout !!

Turbo54 - October 11th, 2005 at 06:10 PM

Typ-fre, should you be doing your homework and not playing on the computer, like I said I could do this with my eyes closed on a computer! Funny thing yours is doing it with out a driver and the shadows standing still, keep trying.
Step by step for dummies:
Open Itunes and go to favourite litsting " Left foot, right foot, HTH)
1) Open picture in Photoshop
2) create new layer
3) Get soft edge paint brush and start clicking, to adviod dodgy smoke like above pic try changing size of brush so you dont get edges and rings
4) Blur a little change transparency to about 60-70%
5) Select original pic and motion blur, angle 0 motion ??? How fast do you want it to be travelling.
6) Save it down to a size you can post on here and look like a hero.

O'h I got an idea, how about get in your mums camry, rip on the handbrake, dump the clutch and get it spinning really hard. Then release the handbrake and take down the street and get your mate to snap it with a digital camera and see if you can get it to smoke at 70mph. Proberly need about 35psi and C02 spraying over the manifolds.
Need I say more, T54

Turbo54 - October 11th, 2005 at 06:35 PM

Only playing Dom! Dont get stressed, go and checkout http://www.shoptalkforums.com  and go to the forced induction section and and go to hi boost set up and check it out, the guy who owns the car has posted some info on there about it and some other stuff but sorry no photoshop help info. There is some really serious stuff and it is proberly better to read and ask questions than post silly comments as a lot of them are serious racers and street guys and lots of them know a thing or 2. Once reading some of these post you will quickly finout that it is possible to extract mega power out of one of these engines. Try to fing Iswinkles post and check out his website, he is building a car at the moment that shouldn't be far off the first pic.

BTW the burnout car has a WRX Subaru engine with heaps of work done and some of the smoke could be the CO2 system, you could always U2U the owner and just ask him and see what reaction you get. I still believe its the real deal, enjoy the site typ-fre and others who aren't believers,

typ-fre - October 14th, 2005 at 12:08 PM
