That 69 type 3 with the odd.... centre caps... has wheels that Beetles did NOT have in Australia...
German 67 Beetles had those type of flat hub caps..
but they were never sold in Australia... We had Australian made beetles... in 67....

You used to be able to buy a large domed chrome or aluminium cap that fitted under the wheel centre on
5 bolt early wheels.......
I haven't seen those since the late 60s....
those on the type 3 were probably made to fit something else.... [guess]

nice to see my bug out and about, glad ya didn't take pics of the under side as it dropped about litre of oil and on the way home the motor shit it self bummer huh.

hows the airbag setup going? you using one compressor or two,
does it lift quick any pointers theres a few people here keen to do this sort of setup

well i got a new motor (std1600tp) been rebuilt and is strong :) car is now super reliable and fun!
