what year do you think this bus is????
:duh ok ill bite , its a 72
the air vents at the rear say post 72 but what about the wheel arches and front grill ??
Late with the front replaced with after-market 68-72 skin?
but the doglegs and rear arches are pre 72
and the front grill is late (square edges)

alot of busses get butchered in previuos lives beacuase of accidents and rust repairs
(hmm i said that somewhere else in the last 24hours LOL)
marcel had a bay camper with a 1600, small round taillights and high mount blinkers
actual bus was a 71 but had a new front skin
Joel
yep i know :thumb
i would say that this one is a pre 71 with a new rear and new front skin with the high indercator holes filled.

it also has a door/flap over the fuel cap which says pre 72?
why would you put the square vents on an early bus?
has sliding door on drivers side unless its lhd
The fuel door is a positioned right beside the seam... this indicates a '73 model bus, because buses made up to '72 had the door further forward
and, and from '74 onwards the door was deleted alltogether in favour of the bare shiny round cap... also the square grille means it had high
indicators... a change made from '73. Basically... this means underneath it all is a 1973 model kombi... the combination of high lights and a fuel
flap is unique to the 1973 year model... as is the repositioned fuel door as compared to a '71.
So in short... it is a 1973 bus which has had low lights and early bumpers added, had the factory high indicators removed and filled, and had the
guards machined to suit the owners unusual taste.
What ever it is it is a sweet looking bus!
