On my last trip to Japan I found this parked in the factory car park..

SirDelton - June 20th, 2006 at 11:19 AM

I'm guessing nobody has picked this as being a HiAce?

there is a company selling those but I can,t remember the site I saw it 2 years ago.

megalania - June 20th, 2006 at 06:41 PM

Its definately a cheaper alternative to buying a fully restored original splitty.

Kai.A. - June 20th, 2006 at 06:55 PM

there was a company doing similar kits for little suzuki/subaru??? vans.
they did a bay and a splitty version....

i think it's kinda cool.

I think the HiAce kit looks a Million Yen better.. lol

The quality & finish of the one above was 1st rate. I would hate to think how expensive it was to do.

Volkswagenboy - June 21st, 2006 at 05:19 PM

Not only Suzuki but Subaru minivans.
-Staggers.

bajachris88 - June 22nd, 2006 at 11:41 AM

vwjon - June 29th, 2008 at 08:46 PM

from what i understand its a kit you can buy and have fitted to your own vehicle, abit like a bumper, skirt, spoiler kit you get for most ricers these days.

Super1302 - August 4th, 2008 at 07:14 PM

have i not seen that at the bottom of a porcelan bus

pete wood - August 6th, 2008 at 04:55 PM

I say, better to have that than no spiltty. Id worry about how well it cooled, but it looks as thought they've sorted that out. I'd drive one.

Type3Sicko - August 8th, 2008 at 07:23 AM

piss funny! :) :) i did the same thing in sir deltons avatar...only without the large blunt. at least the hi ace has been cosmetically improved.

JimmyH - August 8th, 2008 at 05:56 PM
