I seem to remember flying past that Ghia on the way to valla.. it was sitting by the side of the road..

I think our (Donna and i) conversation went something like
"Wow! Check out that Ghia!"
"Beautiful!"
"..."
"Do you think we should have stopped?"

Doing 120-130k's we had covered a fair bit of ground before we came to this conclusion... oops! :duh

Yes I had a bit of tme on the side of the road heading down to Valla, due to a faulty fuel sender. My gauge read 1/2 full when I ran out.
Thing is I suspected there was a problem and had a small fuel tin with me but didn't get to fill it up!!!
Luckily I was cruising with a couple of Cabriolet Ghias so Lou and Earl were in the process of helping me out when you passed.

Good to hear that there are some future Correct Height VW Club members on the way.
