Mmmmmm ... oettinger....
First thing that popped into my head "Does it have Torana tail lights ???"
no but it does have a flat 6
Someone has been sniffing too much resin
How do people view something like this? I personally think it is pretty crafty but I really prefer beetles that utilise the original curves with a nice paint job as opposed to the body kit. After owning a beetle for only a few months slowly working on it I realise just how much time and effort goes into something like this especially when I haven't achieved all that much. I wish I had more time!!
certainly different!
Poraga?!
Poraga?!
If I recall this is the Oettinger development Beetle built in the early 1980's that is on display in the VW Shiftung Museum in Wolfsburg.
It was a one off special with the 6 cylinder flat six that was then developed and put into the T3 Transporter as a special build.
There are not many of these flat six Oettingers/Okrasa stamped motors around these days.

If you want a slant nose porsche, go and buy a slant nose porsche. Dont cause abomination to both cars by trying to turn one into the other.
Looks a bit wrong to me.
That's as smart as a turd juggler.
