Doin the IDA limbo

Today had a nice beetle in with no access holes for plug changes and IDA's........let the picture's tell :)

I think #1 plug took 1/2 an hour just to get the stuck socket off the plug once the sparkplug was installed. You gotta love that :tu:

Were you charging by the hour to change plugs? That could have been an expensive service.

Lets just say he's a very happy customer.

And yes, a VERY nice bug. Claimed 208 flywheel hp Pat Downs engine. Sweet as.

The guy is a volksie nut and has a few. :)

nice bug i seen it for sale on car sales. L/H drive too yeah.
i usually take my carb off the manifold to change the plugs

I recently decided I would dip safety glasses while angle grinding - kept getting bits burned onto my eyeball. I know wear ski goggles!!

Yep, the car is a left hooker, owner pulled it from the market after driving it again :) . Brought it here for (amongst other things) a ride height raise for the new prospective owner.....left same height as it came :) :) :)

Hey mate, been a busy chrissy, too much rain for a holiday so was busy doing a shed upgrade......still plenty to do. Be a while before the a/c is hooked up for the engine building room. :tu:

I don't know how much for, but it was for sale. A very nice car with zero rust of any kind, not ever even any rust repairs or prior accident damage with 200 f/w hp and extremely nice interior.......what IS it worth Reub's???? (said in the nicest possible way :) )

Yes but some people don't like cutting thier car....and some cars I believe that to be the right decision.

My own....hell, I cut the whole back off !!!
