I headed out to Rat Day this year as I usually do.
It makes a great start to Father's Day and with the trophies handed out at 11am it means you can check out some great rides and chew the fat with mates before heading home for lunch with the family.
As usual there were a ton of Split Buses but there were more Beetles this year and a few Bays too.
The standout though was this ratted and slammed US-import left-hooker '73 Type 181 Thing with a 6" narrowed adjustable beam and notched springplates.







































And a shot of my Panel parked by the side of the Hume whilst I stopped to "water the horses" on the way home.


A good day all round. 8)

If people want them I can post some pics of the non-VW cars there too.
