Hi Guys not sure if this has been done before but couldn't find anything.
I have some pics of my previous VW's and thought i would share them with you.
If you have any pics of your previous VW's it would be good to see them
pics
Some more
Dad's Manx
Some nice rides there Simon. Any ideas what happened to your old ones?
Poor pic, but the one that started it all.
Don't know if I like this, miss them...
And a few mates cars, worked on them all.......
Hi cam070,(kev)
Not sure, the 1st one was my very first car which I had back in 94-95 and the silver one and the Manx we had around 99, we sold both the silver one
and the Manx to a guy who had a car yard, last we heard he had trouble selling them then they got stolen. (I know this because I kept the plates and
have been pulled over a few times to be checked because on the police computer they are down as being on a stolen silver bug.
I would hate to think that both had been stolen and destroyed as they were both nice cars.just need to change the 1835cc for something else as it was
not a great engine, but the rest of the car was awesome.
Love the photos dubbyfan,
I guessing a theme!
I've been a dubber for along time, here are a few of my gems. look n enjoy!!
me about 25 yrs ago, one cool bug!!
my vw LT camper (doss) van, if only it could talk, it would tell a few tales!
my heavily modified type3 squareback, amazing car, removable roof. i got lost in it once and drove thu the middle of a rock concert, crazy day!
there wasnt much space in the car for my camping stuff so heres the trailer!
my chicks love bug, i think i was stoned (i now think i should have been!!) all my own work!!
my first beach buggy, i was 17-18 when i built this.
my ex-nato 181, bought direct from NATO complete with all the blackout cloths, spare wheel fuel can, rifle racks etc etc
and the bug trailer too!!
my T25/3 camper, ex-plumbers van. great vehicle!
my diesel doka, toured the whole of the uk in this, converted the front seat to a rock n roll bed, bikes n boards in the back!
nova kit car was uber cool, (you had Purvis here)
and my T4, this first customised T4 in the UK (the world?) it was an exbuilder white van, very rough inside, but ok outside.
it was the loudest van in the UK for a few months too (officially recorded at 220db), there was over £2500 in paint alone, LOTS of strobes, neons,
leds, and even a lazer in the back, strobes fitted in the front and rear lights, it was fully tricked out!! and i used it as my daily driver!

Sure is that Rex Webster, there was an article on him in a recent Street Machine where he spoke of the FJ and the Ghia.
Cool ride, I hope its still looking good?
First VW was a 58 I picked up from a wreckers for $1000
Decided I wanted a Baja Bug, so I ended up swapping it for this 61. It had a 12V conversion and a 1600TP in it
Then did the Baja conversion
Then my little fella came along and I had to sell it. That was about 6 years ago. Only just bought another VW about 3 months ago.
My daughter pesterd me to take her and her mate surfing, no waves
Here's a pic of my dad with his 61 gulf blue beetle. I'd love to track this beetle down if it's still alive. Rego was ANL789. No copy of the VIN
number unfortunately.
It used to run around the northern beaches in Sydney.
My old panel, just ashame it was no good in the back for the young ones
sorry about the double pic
My old 74 bay, i really miss this bus and wonder if it still lives in Qld
