Bought this 65' bug off a fellow veedubber on this forum, after my partner convinced me to take it on as a project.

Got it home yesterday and started stripping it to find quiet a bit of rust that had been previously "repaired" or more accurately covered up. Just an opportunity for me to learn how to replace some panels

have a few pics of how it came and the rust ill be repairing. will continue to post pics as the project continues. Haven't decided on what kind of look to go for yet just aiming to get it structural and reliable first.

Going to be a long term project between work and full time study!

Have decided to go for a rat look for this car, work completed since last post include new floor section welded in, paint sanded back then given a coat of Penetrol, rear window put in, headlights cleaned up and some trim put on. Will be pulling the motor out over the next few days to clean it up and get it running sweet.
