Hi all
success tonight, i have my first car, a loverly lavender coloured 1962 beetle, with rwc, for $2200. it was a steal, came with all the Original books,
some unopened. some logs dating back to 63, when trams were running in brisbane.
I couldnt be unhappy with it. Ill take some pics tomorrow. and put them in the member section ;0
Edit. Thanks for the that

Hi Sky, I think we all know how you feel at this moment, when we all bought our first VW.
I myself bought a 61 & yes it was a great feeling.
Hope you get many years of happy V-dubbin'.
If your ever down Byron Bay way....give me a call.
Hope to catch up with you on a cruise one day.
Are you going to Action Day at Carina on Sunday...loads of VW's to see there.

out tomorrow
You named your bug grimace? THAT SO CUTE!!!kiss
I remember what it was like to buy my first vw (perhaps made alot more exciting seeing it was my first car) im still not over it and 8 months on im
still giddy from it all. I dont see the symptoms abating for another few years yet... you have much giddyness and good feelings to look forward to yet

Grimace is cute....but isn't he registered yet?....no plates.
Luv the colour...yes Grimace does suit him.
Judy (o\|/o)
Yea no plates as yet, Thats the busines for today
Service was done yesterday, rather good nick. only needs a little work
New or Adjustment to the steering box and wheel alignments, or new wheels as well.
Im still getting under $3000 for a pearla
on another note. I nearly crashed grimace yesterday, I was moving her in after the service, this was my first time ever driving (probably shouldnt
have tried this) and I kangarood, but the engine didnt cease, I nearly hit the fence you see on the right side of it, the only thing stopping me was
the greenery. no damage to anything, and next time it will be in a more open area :d
I can see why you called it Grimace Very nice ride, looking forward to
seeing it around the VW events in Bris Vagas:P
