G'Day all,
Here's my first post! Thought i'd show you my 65 Squareback just before I started stripping it down. I bought it last year after a 10 year
period of no VWs (my last was a 69 Fastback, shouldn't have sold it!) All that's happened so far is the BRMs & lowering. She's in
bits at the moment undergoing a little tidy up. I'm going to go for an Empi GTV look C stripes & all! I'll keep the mechanicals pretty
stock & repaint in the original turquoise (haven't seen any other T3s in this colour so far) I'm hoping to be back on the road sometime
in summer, time & dollars permitting.
I'll also let you guys know that I own Sherriffs Mini Cars in Parramatta, so if you're looking for any VW models (or anything else)
I'll see what I can do. I'll also give any Aussie Veedubbers a 10% discount on anything you buy. So please feel free to ask for
anything!
I'll stop blabbing now, hope you like my baby!
Chris

Love the square! On the model front, you haven't come across the minichamps one millionth edition beetle have you. I'd kill for one!! They
were a special boxed edition no. 430 052103. Have only seen one pic of them on net and can't find one anywhere, it's about the only
minichamps vw I'm missing. Love some insider help!!!

Thanks for all the good raps on my car! It's good to get feedback from guys who appreciate VW's. Most of my mates are wondering why I'm
into oil dripping, slow old cars, but what do they know! I'll keep you posted on my progress.
62deluxe - I don't even have the millionth edition myself!! You never know something may appear, I'll let you know. Also have you seen the
new Minichamps 1951 Bug?? Awsome model, has openeing decklid & good detail. Only problem is that the crank pulley is on the generator & vise
versa!
Byronbus - here's the pics of the models you've seen, plus another new addition!
enjoy!
revell 1/24 samba (with a few mods)

The Black & Red 23 window is the one with the subs etc in the back, they don't photograph well though!

Just dug this out of my camera, here's how the square looks now!

sikdub, nothing at the moment but I'm trying to dig up some Minichamps 1/43's. I'll try & get a pic of one of my models. It's been lowered with the closest wheel I could get to BRMs, looks cool. I'm going to paint it the same colour as my car later on.
Midlife, Thanks! I reckon they look kinda cool! Anyone for a highboy style square??
what is a van man worth (are they still available)? do you have anything in the way of late model bay window kombis? (1975 onward?)
I'm trying to get meore of the Van Man, should know next weekend, they're $40. There's nothing readily available in a bay yet, but Minichamps is planning a diecast on in 1/43 scale. Maybe this year.
