she'll be stock.
apart from the engine, wheels, and ride height at the front.
it's too original to modify too full on.
I'm not going to do anything that can't be put back to standard.
just wanna teach those rice cooker guys a bit of ol' skool respect!

That looks way to nice to play around with. You can show ricers a thing or two in a different car can't ya? But its your car....

It's your car but people strive to have a stock oval that looks like that. I hope you change your mind. Maybe find another not so good oval to do it too. Don't get me wrong I love what you want to do. Again your car, just my opinion. Good luck with it anyway you go. And hope you do teach some rice cookers a lesson.

thanks mattie. I changed it to maroon to sell it. thought it would make it more appeasling to Joe Public.
when it was orange, it had big EMPI logo's on each side, and some ol' skool race stickers, like some old Scat and Weber ones. it was meant to look like full '70's reace service vehicle. I had EMPI 5's on it too.

the bonnett is so-so.
I've got a fibreglass one to go on and I'll get the original one welded.
I'm looking for a fibreglass W decklid if anyone has one. am willing to swap or trade for an original.

I got onto a '60's ragtop today
maybe I'll keep that as standard?
or perhaps cal-look the rag, and keep the oval standard.

Keep it as standard man, please making it into a ragtop would well kinda kil it plz dont, i spose i cant tell you what to do.

A lot of us are aiming to have our rides look just like that. Keep it original and resist the temptation to Mod. Once again its your car.

no my VW is a Baja Bug NOT a racer and anyway my Bug couldn't go fast enough to warrant looking like a racer bug and I like baja's better...
