going with the origanal colour, a light green, scored a Webasto German rag top for it today, same as a Golde, it needs some attention as well, but its complete, and will look cool in the Beetle!

No Not yet!
as I said it is complete, but needs a fair bit of wood work, and has to be retrimed!
It looks exactly the same as a Golde, Webasto was commisioned to make a prototype rag top for the new 1950 Beetles, I'm not sure what happened, VW went with Golde. Webasto is still in operation, making ragtops for VW Mercedes BMW and Alpha.
Just like the car it will be a long process getting it back to the condition it has to be to be put in the car.

The man I bought the Webasto off had a type 3 Tazz would kill for!

If it was anything like the maroon one with the turbo at action day your dead right.....Man i could even go a type 3 if it looked like that.


Then would transplant the engine into my beetle and flog the body....Only joking Tazz.....maybe..... :D

Yeah
I had to get the Beetle because of Jodie's arthritus, she just cant handle the Kombi any more, and I wanted another any way, and It gives me a bit of respite, working on it!
