Hey Carl,

Your bus is beaut, that blue is the original colour is it not.I just bought a 69 microbus today red interior lotus white paint old wide 5 stud drums all round same as splitscreen but ball joint front end and irs rear.Must only be 70-71 microbus had all the external chrome trims.Does your 71 have small 5 stud wheels already?.

the bus lives at Loganholme on southside.
yes it is origonal colour or close to it.
A guy at stafford off webster road, just near import advantage did the paintjob.
I realy like the delux crome trim.
the front breaks are disks, just installed new ones by-the-way.
That white with red trim was called Elvis and came from caloundra?

I got it from Buderim but there was a lady driving one in Caloundra a while ago similar.

You've got yourself a very nice bus. I love the colour as well:cool:

That's the only other bus besides my mothers that I have seen with the thick chrome trim on the belt line. Hers is a 73 though. I was led to believe that this was on the Deluxe microbus models only but have since been told that it is only on South African imports. Or maybe it was only available as an option here. Anyone know more concrete details.
