mmm. very sweet. original complete splitty SC!
Very good. Very very cool.
I found this through a friend. He gave me the number of a guy he recalled having a few splitties on his property about 30 years ago. Lucky for me he still had them. The one in the picture is a 61 PMG S/C. I'm not sure how much work is required yet but I'm picking it up in december. There is also a 61 bus and a 56 S/C. The bus is to far gone but nearly complete and I'm not sure about the 56 S/C it's pretty beaten up. I'm going to check it out when I'm out there in december. :bounce
Nice work, I love split singlecabs...:thumb
I'm off to pick up my s/c on friday. I'll post some better pictures when I get home. Does anyone remember who it was who made those rust repair panels in SA.:bounce
PMG bus in SA makes perfect repair panels for splity busses. Good luck and hope to see all these splitty projects on the road soon.
PMGBUS or Andrew can be contacted on 08 83882277.
He can help you with your panels, A few people on this site have used them including me, they are perfect copies.
Good luck
Cheers
Dave
Hope I am not hijacking the post, but is he still on here Dave? I was hoping to get some of those panels too sooner or later..
Yes Jim he is.
His wife is expecting their first baby in a couple of weeks so I dont think he has much time to visit the site.
Spoke to him last night, said he will still do the panels but really needs to get a few orders to make it worth it.
Hows the van coming along,??
You havent posted any pics latley.
Cheers
Dave
I went and picked it up this weekend and I've nearly finished dissasembly and I'll post some progress pics when I reduce there size. There
is virtually no rust from the cab forward. The tray bed is repairable but the cargo bay floor needs replacing. I've put a post in paint and body
if anyone has any ideas.
