Ah don't worry, what's four years? lol
Get with the times dude.
-Staggers.
There was a gold one at the Summernats this year. I'll find the pic and post it.
Found it
WHOA!!!
NICE :bounce
That's not a Sabre, that's a Ferrari Dino replica.
Very nice cars in person, I've fallen in love with one lately... the guy won't part with it though!
-Staggers.
This is a Sabre:
The first pic is BugBrained's and the second is Sinecure's.
Sorry I should correct myself before Sinecure cracks it, the red 'Sabre' is actually a Taipan...
the only MAJOR noticeable difference to the 'untrained eye' is the front and rear
sections being hinged, instead of being a one piece body.
Both made by DRB (On the G. Coast was it Sinecure?) and basically slightly cosmetically different.
That should keep Micheal happy.
-Staggers.
Thank you, Brenton. Yep, both built on the GC, and the Taipan is a mid-mounted inline 4.
BTW, the gold one is a Kelmark Condor. Theres one for sale on ebay in QLD - $1000 and only one bid, Brenton.

I like the look of them, especially in white. How much does the kit start at.
Thanks, I really like the white too. And white is the new colour of choice for 'supercars', according to Top Gear.
A bit of history: The Taipan and Sabre MKII were manufactured in 1987. Only 24 MKIIs (as far as I've been able to research) and 6 Taipans were
made. The MKII was $11,000 for just the body/spaceframe back then, the Taipan even more.
Shannons suggested and agreed insured value on mine is $30,000, and increasing every year.
Stand by though, because I may have traced the guy who has the moulds.

Hi Mick I believe we were talking on email before a little while back. Car has been posted in the gallery on the Eureka forums (the msn based one) I will dig some images out and put em on here
here we go!
What about the VG coupe under all the rubbish?
Someone buy this!

I gotta say, I'm not usually in for this sort of thing, but I love the look of Sinecures car. Very classy and classic looking. The only thing I'd change would be to put slight bigger rims on it, say 16" as opposed to 15", but I'd keep the minilite style.

Nice... sorry about the guess. It has the same shaped grille as my VG. A friend twin turbo'd one of them. Goes like stink but expensive to fit when
something goes wrong. I think they are very james bond looking, I dont know why.

A twin turbo interceptor? interesting! I bet he had all manner of heat issues under the bonnet, they are very hard to keep cool. Would have been an
interesting ride for sure.
I heard of an SP (which was the first Interceptor to get the 440ci V8) which had the triple dual barrel carbs, some guy in Aus put NOS on it and it
would easily spin the wheels at 100MPH...
Wasn't there a Jensen AWD Interceptor?
And ...HOW MUCH FOR THE TARGA
