thats a real nice beetle, you've made it look great with the extras, and wat a nice price.
ur portarack, r there extension pieces on the legs before the suction cups, urs site higher than mine?

wrecker67 - January 3rd, 2004 at 07:14 AM

all the bits and pieces are stuff i had laying around the yard, the rack has no ajustment for height, but looks like it was modified a little...

hey wrecker how much is that front beam lowered by?
It looks sweet, and i am going to be in the market for lowering very soon.

wrecker67 - January 5th, 2004 at 11:01 AM

hi there, the beam has ajusters fitted,i pulled it out a beetle i have just waiting to be painted, its almost all the way on its lowest point, has short shocks, and i have 4.5"front wheels with 135 wide tyres,so it wont hit the guards...cheers

vanderaj - January 13th, 2004 at 08:53 PM

Nah, keep it as stock as you can ... that's a nice looker there, and the early ones are only going to be rarer and rarer as time goes on.

Robo - January 28th, 2004 at 07:43 PM

Stay with the factory set up, you can improve 6 volt lighting, and 1200 is OK for city driving.
