me and my girlfriend andrea now have three beetles. the first is andreas 1976 roadster conversion this car is great fun to drive (so light as it has fibreglass butt) currently got a stock 1600 that i am going to upgrade to warm 1641 (anyone got 34 icts for sale,need small twins to fit in tiny engine bay). the second bug is my 71 super beetle ,this was to be my street rod but when stripping back found lots and lots of badly repaired rust so he has been put on back burner for now and earmarked as future rat look utester as most of the rust is in the rear. The third in the family is my new 64 on 76 irs pan that i just bought off this site (thanks Dave Becker) this is about to get a complete strip and respray new interior and a stonkin new type 4 2.2ltr. this will be the families (we have a baby girl mariquita {spanish for lady bug}) main transport and my daily driver. i willpost photos of this build as it proceeds over the next couple of months. We do most of the body and interior stuff ourself and i am learning the mechanics side on the 1641 and getting the type 4 built.
