Well she has arrived...... our 1970 Baja .......

Boof has turned out just a sweetie.... very neat inside and pretty good outside.....

Boof has no Heart (Engine) at the moment but thinking of a couple of options up the sleeves..... she has no back seat but she has had a deck instralled to give multi storage... which rather looks kwel i might say and a great idea.....

Well at first no thought better change to make it really ours......mine but the Blue and White is growing on us.

Probably get it resprayed later on in the year..... at least now i own a car that i can say is mine mine mine and boof can take me anywhere ...... look out sanddunes here i come :thumb :thumb :thumb

Would love to pu ta subie engine but hmmmm well at the moment we have to many cars and not enough cash.... spending a little on everything yaknow....

Boof still has no heart but we are thinking of ways we can get around it,...... as we really want to take her to our Stradbroke Island trip on the Frist weekend in March so this does not leave us much time........ :cry :cry :cry hmmmm anyone know anywhere i could Rent an engine hehehehehehhehehehehe just wondering

Thanks .... for thinking of us.... but dont want to go and put a radiator in her but....... having a thought or 2 about putting something else in her instead of a VW engine...... since we have to go and get approved for the kit might as well get other things happening

Thanks to a really cool dude ( well you must be pretty damn cool owning 2 country buggys....lol) Boof now has a heart.....a Subaru one at that. Now it will match our datto powerd bus...lol

We got home Tuesday morning about 1.30am and went home......

Tuesday night Michael & Marc worked hard and well they got the engine in... and she started.......... boy it was so exciting but the cage wont fit on

Tonight (Wednesday) Mcihael is adjusting the cage now to fit over the fantastic sounding Subaru engine ......

Gee I have to start being more impatient, it seems thing get done quicker that way....Good to hear that it is in, hope it all went smoothly. My neighbour commented on all the noise the other night (some loud female- and I suspect I know who), it was light hearted but couldnt help be glad that you didnt sound the horn of the buggy...
