umm new projects !! I never get round to finishing one ! i have another here waiting but i so slow !!!

robnjo - March 14th, 2004 at 08:01 AM

cool got some more parts from around the traps, rear bumper(hehe 40 bucks) ,pretty straight,so I'll send it and the front off to a guy that did an awesome job on an old FJ bar I had("Rock n Rods" at beenleigh).good set of splitty rims with very good old style tyres on them :thumb. and a splitty gear box (from brake drum to brake...reduction boxes, the whole lot....though was told that it came of a 58 so not sure its going to be any good as a spare for mine,we'll see.Now the cargo doors I got from up north have no rust but they seem to be weird where the the windows sit, been modiffied sort of?? any way I'll just cut the bottoms off and put them on mine ,that are rusted out.
for a project I'm not starting till the end off the year....bloody spending some money on it. lol

type_one - March 15th, 2004 at 12:48 PM

its taking up a lot of my time.....and the kids love playing in it

vwombat - April 18th, 2004 at 01:43 PM

Are the kid's going to inherit the split? Planning on getting it running for their licenses? I would need about that long... (Silent weep!)

P.S. How do you manage the VW nursemaid gig with the family gig?
