hi everyone i went to look at a beetle on sunday it was a 57 and it was fully orig has white wall tyres wheel trims fully stock original car im going
to place in a motor and a box to cope with it brms which are white but im not sure if they would look ok as they are white it will have a full on cal
look stance not sure whether to go for bumpers or t bars it will be getting straightened and resprayed later on in the year will have pics on saturday

What motor are you going to use-Make it big.With your dak dak-looks like it's misfiring on one cylinder.

i got a bit carried away and in 2 days i took the motor out and then the next day the body came away form the pan also the orig box and motor are for

well the story
i got the car on the 23rd of march it was very neat and tidy we went right through it no rust the drivers side pillar has a fair dent in it and the
front clip is pretty screwed but for how old the car is it is in v/good condition we drove it home with a permit when i got it home i stripped the
trailer lights (indercaters) and bumper bars left it for a while then a week later i ripped the carpet up inside and seen the floorpan was nearly
perfect but it looked a little shabby so i painted it but didnt like it so over the next 2 days i removed the motor then the body and then the box i
went and bought 4 litres of degreaser and started to do the top half and then i blasted it with a gurney came up alright but today im going to tip the
car up and give the underneath a good clean than paint the bugger i am also going to get drop spindles and a wide 5 disc brake kit for the front end a
1600 box for the rear with steel side plates and a 1600 tp with a mild cam and twin kads and as for the body im going to paint it battle ship gery
with white brms the interior is going to be stock and that is in very good condition with a 5 in tacho which i just bought and a gtv wheel and heres

ok ive started work on the pan and around both the battery areas have been bought back to bare metal on the pan and am going to start rubbing back
the trailing arms and spring plates then paint hem what do you you think i should do paint it one colour (black) or paint the suspension grey and the
pan and floor halves black im still not sure but your thoughts will be great!

update the beam is going to come off in a minute and the im going to get the pan sent away to be powdercoted black im getting a 1500 box and fully
megged extractors delivered this weekend then soon after that its goping up to volkscare hopefully to have short axels drop spindles adjusters(beam
cut) disc brake front end will update you soon
