today adam and i finally were able to pick up one of the rat buses today. the wheels were removed and the hubs bashed to free up the wheels which had been sitting for over 20 years.
the bus rolled onto the trailer with some effort and we drove it back to its new home. heres some pics of our morning...

its not really a 'rescue mission' when, in the end all your gonna do is scrap her.

maybe call it the 'parts bin' 'salvage' mission.

the buses dont neccessarily hav to be scrapped, i am more than happy to sell to someone who wants to restore it, id much rather do that than strip it for parts, id even sell it for alot less if i knew it would b restored. but i think anythings better than leaving them there to perish further, at least they will be able to help others get their buses on the road.
