Had today off and visited the shed.
I found a few spots that I didnt like when I took it outside , I could see a few highs and lows so fixed them today.
Now all I have to do is rub it down,
Still not made my mind up on the colour.
Cheers Dave
Heres the dog inspecting my work
As I am spraying with an epoxy high build primer I have been using the cig Easy Sprayer, it is like a cheap home sprayer but it has done a great
job.
I will be using a proper compressor and breathing gear for the top coat

the bumpers have come up good to, they were really bent but a local panel beater fixed them for $120 each.
You need a pro to do work like that, would have taken me weeks.
Last one,
Just got to love splitty dashes.
Working for it to be painted before June.
Cheers

Nice job Dave.. Any more info about ya sprayer thingo? Still available?
Hey Dave,
It's a good stage to be at.....anticipating the final product. Although can get dis-heartening very quickly, because from where your
at to now, I think I rubbed my van back complete eight times in-between primers and top coats!! And and as you would already know there is alot of
surface area in a bus....You've got to have a certain passion and dream of yourself cruizen in that awesome splitty!!
Mate, coming along beautifully!! Can't wait to see the end result!! :thumb
Jim, You can get them from Bunnings or any BOC weld shop, cost about $120.00 they are great for spraying primer but are no good for top coats, great
if you are borrowing a compressor for the top coat, as your vehicle will be ready and you dont need to have it for ages
Cheers
Dave

Super work there mate.
You'd have to be getting pretty excited. Imagine the pulse rate as you fire up the compressor to put the colour on.
Btw, you can tell us the colour. We won't tell anyone.
Great stuff.
hmm, let me guess.
He's always been a fan of dove blue.
then there was the stage of beige grey.
Baybe 2 tone beige on top and blue bottom.
like this??
Close Dan.
I was thinking of that.
Gone off the blue, too many blue and white.
Next Guess.
Cheers
