it is a best i can tell at the moment a 64. it still has the small back window, a must in my eyes, and rear engine louveres but has the fish eye indicators.
as you can see she is in a *used* condition. but seems no more than the few that i have seen. the bus is a bit further on as of now. she, "lois",
has been stripped out and is getting some blasting b4 rust repairs are carried out. i am going down the same lines as robk with replacing the
floor.
cant wait for this baby to be cruising. have ordered the necessary cool bits from OS, and now it is jsut of case of getting it done.
as you can tell, and some know from past dyno days, it is sitting at Custom bugs and buses. mike is going to be doing mechanical stuff. he is the
legend inmy opinion.
will keep posted of pics. the couple have at the moment i cant work out how to upload from my new phone. :cussing
2G.
ps liked it better when you could attach four pics at once!
see a little work to do...
these rims are for sale if anyone is interested.
they are 14x6 x 4 of em...
oh and would some one have one of these to save me some hassle. it is the base for the rear seat.

slowly progresing....
still wouldnt mind a rear seat base? anyone know of one, please u2u me.
Nice work, another one on the road!! well done.
Lookin good mate.
Very nice.
Wish I had one?
Cheers
Dave
Well done, Nice work. I had a 61 DC ages ago but needed too much work and only cost me $200, was a pitty as i love them.
Sold it and made my money back, but you know the old saying..... I wished i'd kept it
Wes.. The bay DC has the same rear base?.. If so, I may be able to help
stenguns. it is slightly different, but i am interested. can you u2u me some details etc.
thanks
very cool looks tough!
thats it...
'lois... she's ruff, tuff but no longer stuffed!'
looks good wes cant wait to see it at a show or the old mans workshop
looks good! This isn't the one that was at the nationals was it?
no, tim, it wasnt. that was a late split. big rear window.
Looks sweet, the one at the nationals was tubbed...
Matt black doesnt work on everything but looks sweet on a twincab
Another of my favourites...what year did they go to big rear window?
And i see what you mean by the vents wes, same as bay in the late twincabs
any more pics of progress on this?:bounce
Wes...not sure if I've asked this before. Was it Bob Barwise's bus in a past life? If so, you've got yourself a past Nats / Valla winner and magazine twinny. The interior with the two tone dash from that original shot sure looks like it.
I want a twin cab
I want a twin cab
I want a twin cab
I want a twin cab.
Where is that wish fairy.
Cheers
Dave
