lobus - April 5th, 2004 at 09:48 PM

Next question is...Should I go to Sydney in Hi mode or Lo mode...I know which way I'm leaning...

kai

ikube - April 7th, 2004 at 09:37 PM

high mode going up Sydney and Low mode at the show if possible, easier on the road ... nice one, saw your lobus @ Vic Jamboree! Excellent, hope you have great fun up NSW Nats :D

lobus - April 7th, 2004 at 11:42 PM

No worries ikube..that is me plan..go up in the notsolobus and got to the show in veryfuckinlobus...on the way home...well we will see what happens..I saw you at the jammbouree I think in the gold beetle with the flush taillights...I don't know if you could get any more of your mates on board, looks like you were convering a few more people to the world of lo dubs...way to go..

ikube - April 8th, 2004 at 04:37 AM

Yup, thats me @ the Jamboree! I felt extremely tired that night right after the show, had to be extremely careful when driving, my baby bug is sitting very low already, and also packed full inside ... really have to watch out for rough surface on the road...
plz, bring lobus as low as you can at the show, make everyone curious to come and have a peek at this fine peice! :D

Cheers~!

vwombat - April 8th, 2004 at 09:24 AM

Isn't cruizin' more fun without worrying about the shocking state of Australian Roads and potential damage to your baby?

It's not like you get free blow jobs with a low bus!

Sorry to be an ignorant pig! Just not a lo fan!

lobus - April 13th, 2004 at 06:39 PM

Well I gotta hand it to the bloke who owns this..Adam I think his name is..He's done all the work himself too. Holden V6 in the back as well..Is low...Is Gooood..

lobus - April 13th, 2004 at 06:42 PM

The short answer to you question is....NO..

johny rotten - April 13th, 2004 at 07:47 PM

Once this stupid trend of lowering buses to the ridiculous levels seen above , some-ones gonna have to fix all the destroyed panels /sills etc. also the destroyed running gear /cracks etc. where is the RTA when you need em....

BenettonVW - April 13th, 2004 at 09:22 PM

Yeah, you'll get over that mate.. See you in ya Baja..
Mate, everyone has tastes, and yours are different to ours.. Is that wrong? Or is it just DIFFERENT? Narrow minded..

Back to reality..

Dave, that looks to be one of my top five rides of the Nats.. Is it on airbags or hydros? Dunno about the hole in the front..

byronbus - April 13th, 2004 at 11:34 PM

Sweet, I loved that Kombi, in my top 5 as well...
Go as low as you can, who cares if you need to do some extra welding when things break, its only a car, not like it cant be fixed or replaced.

I was pulled up by the police on the way home from the nats, he loved the yoot, suggested it could even go lower, he just wanted the number plate on the bumper, i told him i'd get right onto it...;)

byronbus - April 13th, 2004 at 11:38 PM

Why do people keep bagging other people's rides, its you'res to do what you want with...

Ive got a 1954 oval, 1 owner, all original and complete. Im about to cut a rag top into it, drop it on its guts and stick some empi 5s on it.

Not really, but who cares!!!

warb - April 14th, 2004 at 06:39 AM

bags, and only the front was done...

mscabrio - April 15th, 2004 at 07:19 AM

GO LOWER !!!!!!!!

Soon you will be so low that you will feel like you are sitting in a go kart !

;)

wacked1 - April 15th, 2004 at 10:17 AM

Adam is a mate of mine the guy who owns the primered bus. The hole in the front is an air way for the radiator which is located under the front seats. The front has a CBB adjustable front beam with drop spindles, and the front guards have been tubbed. The sills have been extended all round has a pulsar steering column. The rear, adjustable spring plates with rear drop plates. Custom rear tail lights. 3.8L V6 with big $$$ 2L box the works. It is also running a bus air conditioner. When this baby is finished it will be one sweet bus.
Thanks
wacked1

wacked1 - April 15th, 2004 at 10:17 AM

PS don't bag other peoples rides!!!!
