POR15
..
Thanks Gra
First pic shows it resting on tires, then it was lowered on to the mattress on one side and pushed over, they are not too heavy when they have been
stripped of all the running gear.another tire was place against the roof when it was on its side,
The bus had all the running gear removed and was put on a trolly that PMGBUS made , this lifts it about 2 foot of the ground,
I then spent a week or so underneath it with the angle grinder.
The rust was cut out and it was sent to the shot blaster.
It was then put on its side and the repair panels were fitted by PMGBUS, both sills, dog legs, outriggers, jacking points, center chassis sections and
the rear arches where they had undergone the aussie conversion of being radiused. And this was a good bus to start with.
After the welding the whole of the underneath was sprayed in POR15 and the running gear re-attached.
It is now as straight as I want it to be and in primer, 2 pac epoxy, ready to be rubbed down for paint.
And no I havent found a colour I like.
Cheers
