here's a few pix of the 69 sardine top before I start ripping into it!
floor pan is shot to hell and back, so it's all coming apart for a replacement in the next few months (isn't driveable at the mo - seats about to go
through the floor!)
1600 motor, 205/70/14's on the back, 195/70/14's on the front, honda seats, and a complete lack of any metal overhead! (and below unfortunately)
floorpan is too depressing for me to even look at the pix, let alone post them again!
I'll post pix as I get into the project - new floorpan, new roof, and a groovy paint job are the plans, and maybe a new gearbox too
Is that classed as a convertible? Or is it just a full-length sunroof?
don't know what it's officially classed as, would be interested to find out!
works well though, no roof, but very little wind blast, and I can get a roof rack on it too - keeps a lot more of the strength in the body apparently,
and has engineers reports too, I've only seen one other around, so it's obviously a chop job, but at least it was done properly!
Looks great! Hope all goes well getting it back on the road
nasty floorpan pics - have stripped out the interior so will post pics of the mess asap!
this is the drivers side seat rail area - seat was only held in on 2 sides!
and again
got the new (to me) pan (thanks craig), bit of welding to do then a serious restoration, so as soon as I get back from the UK pix will be appearing!
