Another '65 Sea Blue Ragtop

This is my "new" '65 ragtop. It certainly is not pristine, but it should tidy up well.

We nearly have enough Sea Blue 65's on the forum for a show category!

This picture is after its delivery run from Adelaide, not a bad drive for a 39 year old car.

1965? is this a factory ragtop or a let-in job? I thought they went to metal sunroofs in 1964? looks nice though.:thumb

Aussie built Beetles retained the ragtop, along with lots of other pre '64 features, until 1967.

This even confuses some parts suppliers, certainly the overseas ones.

Aussie Rag Tops were available until May 1966 then steel roofs came in.
