i see a respray coming along...
yep was lots of chips and a couple of little dents plus where i fixed the rust so better than repainting little bits the whole lot is to be done maybe not to flash but generally a tidy up in the same colour
Looking good pod. What size wheels and tyres have you got on the front?
4.5's or 5.5's
135`s on 5.5 rims thats how i got them ,the green rim on the back is one i got from greedy its 8inch wide
Pod,
great ride . . will keep an eye out for you on the roads around Cambelltown.
Bill
POD~ looking awsome, u have got me second guessing on what rims 2 go with r they standard caps, cause I was allways thinkn i would put empy 5 spokes
with white walls but your front rims u maken me re think it, & that will save some $$$$
Can u tell me what height the front & back is @ on yours?? cause it looks wickd~
yep front wheels are mengles with the standard caps
height at the front is about 12cms at the lowest point of the spare wheel well, back havent really checked
Ah so it is real!!
yes scott it is for real:alien
Lol, nice comeback
couldn`t help myself:duh
another '61 hooray! what colour is that it looks like my '61 colour turquoise.
have you bought the paint yet? going 2 pac or lacquer?
hey pod if you need a hand give me a yell i got some gear and all that, ive also cheated and done the certificate 1. tafe course on automotive spray
painting
just U2U me or what ever id be glad to help
P.S. bugs looking sweet as
paint will be turquoise and suprise, am using enamel as it really is going to be a daily driver and dont want any surprises from under the paint
coming to haunt me.So my brother who was a spraypainter suggested the enamel for the above reasons.
pyro will give you a yell if i get stuck as have compressor and gun and mask just will have to fit it all in with other things to be done
C`mon the warmer night time weather as its too cold out in the carport
been fiddling a bit more
hoping the long weekend isn`t to wet to get some more done

Kickin job! I like the tyre combination, I'm running something similar myself - original X-plys up front and 225/60/15's on the rear :thumb:thumb:thumb
Nice work for sure.
personally cant go past the 2 tone look. I'll get around to doing it to mine as soon as budgets allow.
Look forward to seeing the final result.
