Hey here's my new mini project. I bought it as an incomplete project. Just needs an interior and some assembly.
Its a 1960 body - resprayed in black. Its currently sitting on a semi auto pan which has been converted to manual. This will be soon be moving onto
another pan which came with the project - its been blasted, resprayed, forks welded, manualised, front end rebuilt etc. Pics soon when i pick it up
This is the interior, full of boxes of parts which i have to sort.
I will be selling a lot of this stuff soon.

My current ride - original stock '63.
He'll have to sit in the cold this winter whilst betty gets fixed
Where in Five dock are you?? You probably live next door...
Here's a pic of the pan that came with the project
Its got a rebuilt front end, welded forks, stock disc front, EA falcon rear. Koni reds all round
I'm just near barnwell golf course, down the road from Five dock leisure centre. Where are you abouts? What do u drive, probably seen u around a few times!
I'm in Barnstaple rd near the main road, White Beetle in the Avatar
<<<<<<I usually park out the back of the house though... I'll look out for you
im a type 2 kinda guy,but i would love to see more pics of this as it comes along,
Jon your Garage is a disgrace. Clean it up and you'll fit your other car in!!! Looks like a swap meet!!!
Dan
Danny
He cleaned it up to get this in there
lol
sweeeeet ride keep us up to date
i like black betty:thumb
Hehe, last night i attempted a clean up. But the garage still looks as dirty!!!except everything is sorted and i chucked out everything i dont want.
Will be posting a few things for sale soon.
Hopefully should be able to get the good pan in sometime this week/end and swap the body over. There should be a Manualised semi-auto pan up for sale
- its the one its sitting on now.
There's actually three cars now, my dad's Honda prelude (u can sorta see it in one of teh pics on the corner) will be parked outside to make way for
the good pan hehe
Trying to organise and decide on an interior. Right now I am thinking of recovering the seats in VW brick red, to match new TMI doorpanels in brick
red/ cream. Beige cloth headliner, no carpet (weighs too much!) - hope to get the front jap seats recovered in brick red vinyl to match as well.
I'm going to try to make my own rubber floor mats, unless i can source a good used set.
Jon
what about the other pan??????
Which one?
The one I was building up has been manualised and dipped and painted. Will be selling that.
The one it is sitting on in the photos will be for sale as soon as i swap the black body onto the good pan. It has been manualised too
s'cool
just had sherberts with Rich

Also picked up bundles of other stuff, 36hp generator and fan, old bits and pieces.
Anyway here's some slightly older pics of my Blue '63 - im actually off my P's now, was on them for 3 years

Last few weeks i've have gotten a few things done recently. Front end has had shock towers extended, upper arms bent, repainted and ready to rock.
Rear end is setup
Last night was trying to get the doors off so i could drop them off at VVDS to get the hinge pins replaced with new threaded ones for the mirror
(there are no threads in either existing one)
Here's some pics
Damn phillips screws got stuck, after about 44 years they rusted into their threads. at this point i swear i wanted to kill mr phillips! Lots of
whacking and WD40'ing with a big no4 phillips and vice grips worked except on the LHS bottom. All four were stuck! The RHS only 2 were stuck. Damn
phillips heads always round out too easily!
