Time has come to put it away and think what to do.
I've reached the point where i have had enough and i am thinking about scrapping the project all together so i have decided to put it away and think
for a while.

and you were SOOOO CLOOOSE !!!!! give it to me ill finish it
maaate, keep on keepin on..the hardest bits are all done by yhe look of it. Maybe you can make it unit 2 in the taxi fleet
64,
I now how you feel. I been going on my 1302 since Sept 2002 but am almost there. There were times when the work seemed to be suffocating me
(especially when the body was off the pan and the channels were cut out). I'd leave the garage closed for up to 3 weeks at a time and surf on
weekends. Allways came back to it though.
Don't give up however a break and focus on something else then a fresh look at will do wonders. It looks too good not to finish and enjoy.

Thanks Brendan.
Yeah, I think a brake may fix my bordom with it.
All depends on the outcome of another purchase. I may finish it or i might part it out.
Unsure at this stage.
This may sound cruel but it is cos you give up to early, just dont for once, see if you can just finish it mate!!!
Maybe you love the process more than the end result?
By the look of the orange one you are almost there. It takes a lot of time and effort (as you'd know) but it is all worthwhile in the end. I say go
hard, get this one finished ASAP then take a break and enjoy it....don't start any more until you're done!
Good luck though, I hope you finish it.
i agree with frenz:jesus
the grey and orange look good as is
just re-assemble it
DON'T PROCRASTINATE, JUST DO IT, THEN AT LEAST IT WILL BE WORTH SOMETHING TO YOU.
All work and no fun makes it so dull.
Is it drivable without the guards?
Then take it round the block for a hoon while no-one is watching. Give it a thrash, then have a cuppa and put it back together.
Remember that cars are supposed to be fun :party
Looks very groovy! Nearly there?
well its in the corner of the shed now and covered up.
i will get some more insperation to do something after valla i'd say
why wait til after valla get to work and drive the thing there. You can do it
The best thing would be to finish it. Then you will have the inspiration to finish all the others.
we believe in you man
Scrap it and build a Buggy !!!!
Don't listen to that nasty evil Brad. The beetle wants to live, we wants to live, we wants to live.
LOL
FINISH IT MAN.
Build a buggy later
WOW! I am always inspired when I see you guys working on a project and when one is looking as good as this it is spine tinglling. My problem is I lack
the confidence not motivation, I wish I had your problem. There has to be a huge level of satisfaction when you drive something that you have rebuilt
and not just forked over the cash for.
If not for yourself, then finish it for us wannabes.
all i can say is this is would b a damn shame if u stop now, my oval needs its brother to share in the good times on the road.
chill out for a bit and come back to it, maybe u just overloaded with 2 cars
needing so much work in the shed.
dont let it be just another photo to show wat u almost finished.
this one is the One...
OK OK i am not going to give up on it yet.
I am putting it on hold till the temps get a little warmer to paint the rest of it though.
And Brad you may be delighted to hear i am furthering my buggy interests with another.
yeah but will it ever get finished??????
Just kidding way to go get back into it and enjoy
notice the legs in the pic i posted...
Just bumping for my 1000th post:party
