The bus is a 69 that I got off an old couple who had it since it was a year old, they bought it off a school who used it as a school bus! I have some flat 4 sprintstars that will be going back on soon, then it needs a bit of a drop.........

62deluxe - August 4th, 2004 at 12:44 PM

65busser - August 4th, 2004 at 01:15 PM

Something about a 59. Aint she SCHWEEEET??? Nice fleet in fact.

62deluxe - August 4th, 2004 at 01:15 PM

Sorry the pics are clear I guess, Just pretty grainy compared to the one I got off thesamba.

barls - August 4th, 2004 at 01:17 PM

it would be your digital camera thats give the grainy pics

62deluxe - August 4th, 2004 at 01:17 PM

Yeah I love the 59s too, Early features like the semaphores, steering wheel and 36hp motor etc but with a look of their own.

62deluxe - August 4th, 2004 at 01:21 PM

It's not the camera, I've got the beach pic as my desktop and it is perfect, it's a 4 meg camera.
The photos had to be resisized or something to get them on the site I'm using to post them, I think that is the problem?

barls - August 4th, 2004 at 01:29 PM

it could be, i forgot earlier cool cars man

62deluxe - August 4th, 2004 at 01:32 PM

Thanks mate. Buggered if I know myself, oh well big grainy pics are better than none I s'pose.:o

65busser - August 4th, 2004 at 02:39 PM

It'll be to do with the size of the pic you're taking. If you take them on the lowest quality/size, they will come up better if posting on the net. Not an expert and don't know why. I'm sure someone here can explain it. Were the pics taken on a high quality setting/resolution?

boersch - August 4th, 2004 at 07:27 PM

Most likely 'cause the pics are massive and high quality, when they are posted they are shrinkeded down thus the lower quality. Just resize in an image editing program like photoshop/paint shop pro and it shouldn't be a problem.

Robo - August 4th, 2004 at 07:37 PM

Nice collection, and looks like they have a nice place to live too!
I just love the look of the 36 hp engines, truely a work of art!
Your a lucky man.
Rob...

paulgrey - August 4th, 2004 at 07:43 PM

Hey man, back to the topic, you have got some sick rides there, you are right about the bay it needs to be slamed, I reckon airbags are the way to go... then you can roll into shows and drop it on the ground.

I really like the square... I woulndn't mind doing on, they make a phat little wagon, what have you got powering it?.

ikube - August 4th, 2004 at 10:39 PM

62deluxe - August 4th, 2004 at 11:49 PM

Thanks guys!
You're right Robo the 36 is a beautiful thing, I'm in the process of converting it to twin carbs, I've got the manifolds ( using two stock carbs) and I'm making up my own linkages with rollers bearings etc, pretty much a copy of the old Riechart kit. I've got a NOS Fram filter set-up too so it should look pretty schmik + go a bit quicker!
The square only has a stock 1600 with Kymco ceramic coated extractors on it at the moment (thanks Chris).
The bus would be cool with airbags, only one problem I know bugger all about them and I'm in Tassie so I doubt anyone else would either!
Dropped spindles would be nice though...........

62deluxe - August 5th, 2004 at 12:54 AM

OK I've tried to make things a bit clearer!
