I saw something very simliar on the back of a car carrier in Melb a few months ago on my way to work. Are you going to leave it like that or will you put your own stamp on it ?

The guy I got it off was trying to get it finished for valla but ran out of time. I'd love to keep it as it is, but I want a Baja, so it will be getting a new paint job and get jacked up.

Now thats what we want to hear raised is a good thing, and what a wild paint job maby not a good thing for a baja but nothing a pass with a spray gun wont fix so i take it its still a good old trusty swingy, anyway im keen for a trip to stradie i was talking to boozer down at valla and he said that the bardge is around $80 so i was going to get a trip organised maby in 2 months or so and theres always fraser at cristmas if the manx club is not doing there thing at inskip me and dave will be going over for a week at least but this time ill have some grunt (type 4) so theres going to be a lot of hooning going on

Well I would loved to have kept them, but most of the flames were on the bonnet, and that is being replaced for the baja kit, so the flames are all but got now.......

I'm working on the upright conversion at the moment, got the pulley done and most of the tinware

ahh no i dont think so i no theres alot of vw stuff in my sheds but a nose cone is not one maby baja park would have one and my upright is all dont just doing the finishing touches and i hope to here it go by this weekend, what did sharp built charge you for your stuff he said $250 on the phone pully and stand and when i got there he tryed to stich me for $270 grrrrr

Yeah I got the $270 "quote" for the pulley, Alt stand & flywheel bush, well the bush is about 2 bucks, I've made the pulley, so I'm about $268 in front at the moment, I've got a mate to do the Aluminium welding, so just need to cut down an Alt stand and weld it up

No I havent got the bush yet, but a mate of mine can get them from the bearing joint near him for $2

i ended up making one because there was no bearing that fitted it cause of the difference in main shaft length

Is there any reason why anybody hasnt changed the input shaft in the gearbox like in the kombi boxes??
