well as some of you know i recently purchased a bed seat, it was in good nick but i decided to retrim it
Anyway i ended up doing it in red as red goes faster, nah really i saw alot of kool hotrods with red interiors so i thought i might give it a try. I ended up using marine vinyl as my mates and i always put our surf gear on it and it needs to be pretty tuff
So heres some before and after pics i thought id share.

This should be the base as i got it.

yes im also avoiding sharing a toothbrush for the same reason

thanks i was surprisingly easy to do as well a staple gun is a must though i borrowed my mates and boy am i glad i did.

ahahahahahahahahaah i found a bed in the back of the kombi to come too many uses some of which you have mentioned i will get onto the others later

hehe funny you mention that since ive shown people these pics ive had alot of people say "oh good i can crash out in it with you after parties now"

interesting.......did i mention i once slept 9 peeple in my kombi before i had the bed seat there was so much condensation the rego sticker fell off lol we werent even making trouble in it, just sleeping :duh

i once loaded the kombi with 5 mates, a full bed in the back (about quen size) and enough gear to last us a week and drove to QLD!! boy there are some good uses for kombi's!

its drilled through the floor then a high tensile bolt and plate hold it down.. if you give me about 3 min's ill knock up a quick pic for a ruff idea

carpet to match the floor oh yeah and i should have made a door to fit the big hole in the middle soon too

although i was thinking of painting it grey and putting some "von dutch" inspired pin striping in red and black on the door :alien theres a few other ideas as well like checkers (black and white)....well actually thats all my ideas :blush

pyro u did make some noticable changes...but forgot to resize d pics....n I had 2 scoll to see dem....

So you got rid of the eye ball emblem...decided against it?..and u painted d inside of d door...looking good.....

So is this holiday work.....been to d beach in it yet?
