When we graduate from High school here in Norway we buy a car....we paint it with brushes and drive around with our drunk mates.....a lot of VW-vans
has taken the night in this celebration called: "Russefeiring".......2 years ago I found such a "RUSSEBIL", all painted and not nice at
all.....
Since the price was reasonable and the car had the steeringwheel on the "wrong" side (we have LHD here in Norway) I bought the uggly duckling and
took it back home.....
I found theese COSMIC 14" wheels that had the same bolt-pattern as the Bay-window.....I bought them and thought more on what style I should go
for....

So...what should I do...?
Back to the drawing table......
welcome to the forum
a coat of paint goes a long way to making your ride look better and it makes you feel better whilst driving (her or him) then a set of wheels and
bling bling your set
I might have been like this sometime....1971 Doormobil fraom Martin Walter LTD in UK.....but too much money and the fact that I really dont like Bays....told me to go elsewhere...
Ugly duckling....
After grinding it down.....with 60 grid sandpaper...I painted it again...with a nive metal-grey color....
many people would give there eye teeth for that over here
I think it looks better.....than the first time you saw it....?
Space enough for 4 peolple to sleep.....2 in the "bunk-bed"....in the skylight....
then the cosy work with the detailing went on.....bumpers colorcoded with the rest of the car and Butcher on the side.....
(...sorry that the text is in Norwegian.....)
cool
Two-tone French-inspired paint job....darker grey in the window-area.....more text to come.....
It just had to come....didn“t it....?
The BUTCHER himself.....just call him PORKY
The becomming of a horse......
1/2 hour later.....
This is where it stands today.....a better looking car than 2 years ago.....and sure to be noticed in the streets......
And there is no bullshit in the front of the car either......instead of the spare tire.....we have the BULL himself.....just call him SITTING.......
thats funny shit, can u translate for us. is the butcher a cartoon in norway or ur own creation. lots of norwegians in my design calss, u guys r so creative
MAN.... THAT is SUPERB!!!
Looks great!!
i would kill for that early devon camper!!!!!
looks shit hot mate!!! very good artistiic work!! them wheels go off!! looks wicked!
cheers
rhys
You have a tow ring on the front of the bull too... Fantastic
Mate, The steering wheel is on the "correct" side! It will be just right for when you do the big overland trip to Aus...
What motor has Bull got in him?
It looks like the early body but the large engine bay..
Great work, keep playing with him and you will get to love him..Splitties a re good but bays are best...David
The car is a Martin Walter Ltd Doormobil....which is classefied for 6 persons...so its not a DEVON camper....
About the engine....its a 2 litre 1977 T4 engine, and with the matching gearbox too.... and you have a nose for observation....it is a newer engine
than the car.....car is 1971
The sad part is that its sold....next week this guy coming to pick it up.....but frankly I know that this would not be used much in my ownership....I
have those other cars to drive also.....
