A Notchback named Gwendoline...
jo_tas - September 2nd, 2004 at 03:09 PM

Hi people. finally found my digital camera cord, so i took a few pics of my car, Gwendoline, previously cared for by Andy (VolksFolks).

Its been a good little car to me (save for a few little problems) and that 93,000 miles on the clock is original! (apparantly)
Anywho, without further ado, i give you.. Gwen!

Nice to see lots of Type 3s appearing. There seem to be alot of them on the forum lately.

Nice looking car, then Notches are really appealing to me more and more.

Hi, my name is Vicki. I am the previous owner of Gwendoline. Very glad to see she has been given a great new home and has settled in well. As you have seen we have another type 3 - Libby, so we look forward to meeting up at a future show.

Hey nice notch!!
Good to see another nice vw in tas.
So when are we gonna see some of you guys at a club run/event?
Surely it's more fun to drive your vw with fellow vw lovers?!?!?
How about it people?:(

62deluxe - September 3rd, 2004 at 12:54 PM

Seriously...... We aren't all old farts in car clubs (not this one anyway), it actually is fun.
Come on you southern tasmanians, tear yourselves away from your puters and come and meet some local dubnuts.
There is a run coming up later this month that should be fun (details later).
I dare you to come.

I'm there! send me the details...

62deluxe - September 4th, 2004 at 05:28 PM

OK details; 26th September 2004
It is a "suprise breakfast run". Meet at Mures carpark Hobart at 8.00am for a drive on a route to be disclosed on the day (sealed roads) then off to breakfast at "jampacked" at the wharf. (good food at good prices).

It will be good to see you there. The more the merrier.
