once was a beetle
ducky - October 3rd, 2004 at 12:46 PM

My Step Dad is nearing the end of a project that has kept him busy for the last couple of years, he hopes to have this complete by Christmas. An Upolsteror by trade but a jack of all trades the guy is a genius.
This started out as a beetle on a chevy luv pan and running gear, many of the beetle panel not obvious have been reused in different parts of the car, see if you can spot where. So far this project has cost him no more than $600.00, what he can't find he manufactures.

yes believe it or not this project was inspired by this toy, which he uses for all his shape ideas etc, no pictures, no plans
