Heres some pics i took as ive added some little things to her =)


As you can see I have all red tail lenses which are US Spec and look much nicer than the euro Amber and Red. I also have the 1966 D Sign (for those that dont know d stands for deutscheland) BTW Shazza is a Aussie 1966 which is equal to a US 1964 beetle =) As u can see i also have the Mr Bubblehead (VW's Mascot) number plate topper



Ok here i did a bit of a mix the top badge is a Canadian VW badge which was on only canadian beetles. They were located on the rear right guard on top of the rear right tail light. I decided to be different and locate where the old 1300 badge used to be as this script looks much cooler than the 1300 script. The script matches the Deluxe script nicely also.
Below the Canadian badge is a Deluxe badge which was fitted only to Aussie beetles. These are hard to find as they dont make repros of these badges



Heres a vintage sticker of the Mobil Pegasus - Mobiles 50's/60's Trademark



Here are some interior shots. Bubblehead Vase on the right with flower back in the day the flowers were used as air freshners, next to that is a VW St Christopher medallion. And standard are the fuzzy dice on any old car =)





Heres the front of my bug which features a US 1950/60's accessory the 'Whirlaway Bug deflector' I got it on ebay brand new in the box!



As u can see it s doing its job well :laugh:

Colour is Sea Blue and i reckon its the best VW colour u can get as it always looks a million dolloars clean or dirty

& got one also for my 58 split when I get that up & happening.
