Hello folks
A pretty momentarse occasion for me, after 16 months of late nights ive got my 67 on the road. I got it for $700 after it was sitting in a shed for a
few years. Did all the panel/paint myself, took it back to bare metal & painted in ppg acrylic, my first attempt at painting a car and im pretty
happy with it, not perfect but better than expected. also painted the pan/beam in por15, replaced most rubbers. Redid all the brakes, bearings, seals
etc. painted the seat frames and re-upholstered the seats, intstalled a custom headliner (vinyl snakeskin :P) plonked in a 1600 dp than i recoed after
making the bell housing more accomodating. Re-wired to 12 volts. The only thing I didnt do was weld in the avis adjusters on the beam, so thanks
volksaffair fellas :thumb. Got the chromework redone and had the steel rims powdercoated.
goodies include 6v popouts, delswift mirrors ( from bocka64), unity spotties, rear venetian.
cheers, Chris

Congrats on a good looking Dub!
Its such a good feeling to see a finished product,More so when you put most of the work into it yourself.
Good to see another VW saved from being taken to the scrapers.
mate you done a very nice job on your ride.
congrats
Cheers, thanks for that!, the only problem is that its been pissing down here in Melb. and I'm not too keen to take it out in the wet. Its also good to annoy the wife again after hiding away in the shed after so many months:party
very nice
is the colour pearl white?
The sides are antarctic white (vw colour). the rest of the car is a beige/green colour, PPG code 3846 grey spectrum.
Smick looking bug, well done.
wow that is great,
well done mate.
Schweeeeeeeet..!!!! Nice and clean. How effective are the front indicators?
The indicators seem to reflect pretty well within the housing, I thought the vicroads fella would pick up on it but he didnt mention anything about
it during the inspection.
