today i was driving home from a long year 12 formal and an even longer day at work. i fell asleep at the wheel and veered off the road. damage is
incredibly minimal, though i am lucky to be alive. front left wishbone joint, shock springs etc. wheel is decimated. suprisingly no panel damage. i
have no bodily injuries, although i did cry like a little girl when i couldnt contact parents for ages.
i will post pictures as soon as theyre taken, i cant hold it straight at the moment. the moral to this story is; dont think you can do everything in
one day. i stopped to rest and i still crashed.
Bad luck, I must say You did look shot when I saw you today, glad to hear you were not hurt.
Tomorrow is another Day.
man. youwould think the story of my last weekend woulda made you see that some things jsut cant be pushed. hope you get it sorted soon bro.
You weren't ready for Heaven, so it seems....
I've had 4 accidents that could have gone either way and came thru them.... not unscathed but I didn't go to heaven so it wasn't My turn.... and
it wasn't Your turn either...
You were very lucky the car didn't get wrecked......
but no body damage... someone's looking after You

Best of Luck ... I hope You have no more experiences like that and continue to go to sleep -- in bed....

Lee
fish man what u doing u got to get some sleep dude
BTW did u get some at the formal is that why u were tired:P
Good to hear you didn't get hurt! Cars can always be replaced, but people can't be.
Andrew
Hey glad you're OK......yep we can push ourselves too hard sometimes.....buggar
How long do you think it will take to get the beetle back on the road?
thats to bad fishman time to fix her again and its good to hear you are allright
dude! ive fallen asleep several times behind the wheel, just pushing too hard and long. luckily ive always come out unscathed as the jolt of the car
leaving the highway or the oncoming horn has woken me out of it and ive manged to avoid accident.... ive learnt my lesson and know when to stop these
days, i no longer push on thinkin 'yeah its cool, i can do it...'
regardless of what happened to the car, its always a good feeling to know you can still walk!
damn fish man i thought my adveture earlier this year would be enough to fix anybody but im glad your all right. may have some spare parts for a sbug if you need them mate
Don't billy and drive, does it evry time.lol.
Your a lucky bugger, hope the old girl isn't hurt too badly.
Bring on the bloody mangeled pics.
will have pics of the damage tonight.
you would have thought i would have learned... my older brother fell asleep at the wheel and plowed our tarago into a pole at 80km. he needed major
facial reconstruction (if u think hes ugly now u should have seen him before the accident).
Costa -YUP! she drinks coopers and took me to a strip club... im in love!
Barls - Its a 1973 1303 Lbug, do they match? i essentially need front left running gear; tyre shock balljoint, wishbone etc. have no idea myself im a
mechanical retard.
Jenz - Shouldnt be more than two weeks, if i can get a job that is... chasflow helps when u need parts
Luck dude,

place).
