Hi Guys,

My name is Alex, and this is my little beast!! hehehehe

its a 62 ragtop, the only thing i have done to it is put on the wide chrome wheels. I brought it from a guy called Adrian who lived in melbourne so me and my dad flew down and drove it back to sydney no problems! I brought it in Feb 04. and its my first car. i took it to its first show at the flat four shootout but didnt win anything, there were to many other nice beetles there on that day! but i still think it was the best one hehehehe.

the owner i brought the car from in melb actually brought this car from some one in QLD in and got it sent to melb. so this beetle has got around the country. has any one in melb or qld seen my car around before ??? just wondering.

small world I nearly bought that car last year...I'm sure its the same one...at the time Adrian was having second thoughts and wanted to keep it for a bit longer...and I also found a 1 owner beetle which I decided to go for...I always wondered what happened to it!

he must of decided to sell it a few months after dealing with you.
i have changed the wheels since buying the car, it had stock wheels on before.

are those wheels all chrome? thay sure are bright.

they are all chrome i got them 2nd hand from George at classic vee dub.

its an original ragtop, the handle says golde on it.

Great looking Beetle. Makes me want to get a ragtop or a vert! Have fun at George's Toy shop, far too many nice things there.

i got the wheels 2nd hand but they looked preety good and it was exactly what i was after so i got them.

the wheels are 14x6 on the front and 15x6 on the back

I have a spare set of 14x5.5 fronts, 14x6.5 rears non chromed for early 5 stud Beetles with great tyres too. I am currently running 15x6 all round.

I like the Chrome units you have there, very bright.
