got this a few months ago now and have only just managed to pull it into the workshop for some much needed paint work. theres is little to no rust anywhere but some nice soul has painted it in god knows what so its cracking,peeling,flaking and doing just about everything it can to remove its self from the car.


It had sat in a barn for 4 years+ had chickens and rats living it it(the whole tunnel was a big rats nest) but with not much effort it started and now runs pretty good, so its in the work shop now and its getting some love treatment,pic will soon follow of the paint, and interior plans...

it sure was, as were the door cards , all in the bin now being replaced by ali , the saas seat are fitted and the inside has been painted now just got to do the outside,front ends done and in primer as is one of the doors just the rest to go

ok... it is at thrings at the mo whitty but it will be gone by tomorrow night as we all go back to work on monday and theres to many cars coming in to keep it there....

secondly we are about 3 and half hours from fraser and as soon as the old girls done it will be payin it a visit

as for beach's round here there are a couple that can be fun but for the most part i go out bush as there are shit loads of entertaining tracks and hills all round the area plus its 20 foot from my front door

up date on the car is I HATE ACRYLIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it had been painted before i got it and its all flaking off, now i am just doing the roof and started to strip it back and oh man its fucked!!!! about 8 different coats and colours and to top it off its been in a roll over as its got hundreds of dents in the roof that have been filled badly with fiberglass and bog.... so much for a quick job!!!!!!!!

so far the insides painted, the bonnet and the rear engine cover, by the end of today it will all be in primmer and tomorrow it will get its first colour, then next weeked it will get the other colours ready to be fitted back up and put on the road

the dash before the cover panels are fitted and with the old saas wheel (i hate it) looking for a flat wheel, would prefer a momo but any brand as long as its flat and not dished like the one i have at the mo..........

as is my rally bug thats still in the uk , one day i will get the old girl over here, been sitting for over 4 years now boohoo

i am lucky cuz its stored in a heated shed with a mates car coletion and it gets started monthly and driven round the yard to keep it all free,still i want it!!!!!!!!!

ooo got all the paint work finished today, well the body anyways, just all the cage and front bars to get blasted and powder coated ...... getting excited now, its starting to look like a whole car again.... can't wait for the first off road action in the old beast...
