Here's a few shots of my beetle. Almost completely standard including 1600 fuel injected engine plus drum brakes all round (scary as hell!). She runs as smooth as when she came out of the box. There's a few things that need doing but for a 25 year old car I shouldn't complain.

Jan 1980 the last one was made officially though I believe they were still available after that date on special order. This one was imported a couple of years back from the US by my sister who owned it over there for about 6 years, I still have the US number plates.

Yeah looks sweet. The drums are ok up until the first emergency stop. Anything after that is good luck. :D:D
