I thought I better show some pics of the growing family :thumb
My type 3 collection: '73 auto wagon, in daily use but has a number if minor issues like a sluggish take off (auto) oil leaks and some rust in the
usual places in the body. The pan is free of any major run though.

'69 auto fasty. Unfortunately cancer has taken a brutal toll :o

more
Cancer :cry
bugger
Lucky it has a few goodies like rear pop outs, wrap around indicators, bonnet lip and abundant chrome inside. The PO started to strip it so is missing
the bumper over riders and dash top which it came with.
Not sure what to do with the fasty yet, rust looks quite bad.
restore that fasty its sweet.
Resto Man
Just what ya need on those rainy days off! or times when ya have nothing to do!
Rob...
Yea, resto!
After the kombi, the beetle, the square...........
I need a bigger yard
Yep,
Another type 3 for the stable.
'71/'72? TLE fasty auto.
Bit of a mouth full but a good solid original in need of a little TLC.
Drives like a ripper so far.
So what do all recon??
I probably paid a little much for her (yet to be named), but I fell in lurv :P

Cool dash and consol.
Does anyone know what should be in the hole opposite the seat belt safely light? (above clock)
That last fatsy was a good score Richard....was gunna bid but auction ended early. Half ya luck....:cry:cry

Quite a nice collection your getting Richard. So a notch must be the next on the list?????
Richard - the fasty looks sweet and if you think the price was fair for what you got then the price was right
nah , now he has an early fastie & a late fastie , next thing is an early squareback to go with the late squareback,
then he will look for all the different notches:bounce
The scariest part is having rid my self of a few excess kombi's, I now have as many type 3's as kombi's!!!
That's not a good mix, I think I need to get a few more kombi's again :thumb
