hey all...had this type 3 for about 3 years now...got it rego'd last month and since then its been a blast!!! bumpers on...lowered...new shifter....sub and amp...new exhaust...that prolly isnt legal....but its loud and sounds good anywayz i got some pics...hope i can be an official vw owner, member

Nice yellow. Very bright. Did you paint it yourself? What's that wheel out of. Looks like an old ford or something.

engine is stock 1600 twin port with solex's...nothing fancy.
has extractors with a straight through motorbike muffler...(reason for loudness)
Yellow!!!! its my favourite other than blue...and yellow is defineatly a t3 colour...its colour matched from "devil Yellow" which is the new monaro colour. in acrylic and i painted the old girl myself...first timer...she's a bit rough round the edges but on the whole its awesome.
as for the wheels...they are 14x6 vw stamped steel rims...painted black. dunno what they're from...but they came with the car so i figured they may have been an optional? either way i love them! specially with the 185x50's on there...

those indicators are from Motorcycle accessory warehouse (MAW) in castle hill..cost me 30 bucks....come in orange...clear and clear smoke..nice light too
